No matter where you live in the world, there are incredible places to visit and be bewitched by some of these places’ beauty and architectural sites. Often, the magnificence of a place depends on the person doing the traveling. It's difficult to appeal to everyone. However, our list of places that has a little bit of everything.

So while you still can, check out these 10 incredible places:

1- METEORA

Metoera is from an entirely different planet. How can it not be? If you have never heard of Meteora, don’t feel bad. You’re probably not the only one. There are so many amazing islands in Greece that a city far from the coast could easily be overlooked.

Metoera is not the typical Greek destination that one would think of visiting, but  it must be added to the top of your travel wish list! 100%.

Meteroa means “suspended in the sky“, and as soon as you arrive by train, your jaw will drop as you quickly understand why.

Is this place even real? Have I landed on Mars? Have I gone back in time? That’s exactly how it feels once your feet have touched Meteroa.

The terrain is tricky to negotiate and it's a trek to get up there, but once you're there you know it's the type of place that needed to be on the bucket list; it's actually a UNESCO protected site.

2- CAMBODIA

Cambodia is a very complex and beautiful country. However, if you do make a trip to this Asian country it's important that you make a few very specific visits. While it's worth checking out the local culture and amazing locations, it's the temples that you must visit.

Cambodia has got the lot, and its enchanting landscapes, rich history and culture and the innate hospitality of the people keep visitors coming back for more. It is also home to some of the most impressive places of worship in the world. Their ancient temples are really something to behold and many of them are still being used today. It's especially worth visiting Angkor Wat.

3- Maroon Bells, Aspen

A reflective lake and two giant snow-striped mountaintops, named Maroon Peak and North Maroon Peak, anchor a blissful panorama exemplified by a symphony of color that changes with the seasons.

More than 300 million years of geologic activity, including sedimentation, uplift and erosion by wind, water and ice, are credited to the creation of Maroon Valley. According to the US Forest Service, the mountains received their distinctive maroon coloring from the weathering of hematite, an iron-bearing mineral, while Maroon Lake occupies a basin that was sculpted by Ice-Age glaciers.

Because the natural landmark is so popular, there is restricted access to the area during the summer and fall. Autumn is an especially dreamy time to visit

The best way to see the Maroon Bells is to take the public bus operated by the Roaring Fork Transportation Authority (RFTA) and visit mid-week when there are fewer crowds. The bus operates between 8am to 5pm from mid-June through early October. What a great place to visit!

4- THE GREAT WALL OF CHINA

Stretching for more than 4,000 miles, The Great Wall of China is the largest man-made structure ever built. Besides being purely a significant part of Asian culture and history, it is an incredibly popular tourist destination but there is a very simple reason for that. Both the story behind it and the construction itself is very impressive.

Although it can get busy up there, it has to be said that walking along one of the great wonders of the world is definitely a bucket list task. By visiting the Great Wall you can get a greater sense of Chinese history. The Wall itself is truly amazing to look along the length of, as it just keeps going.

The home to the Lord of the Rings, it's well known by now that New Zealand is a place of natural beauty that everyone should visit at some point. If you're a Middle Earth fan then there's plenty to do, but even if you're just a lover of nature then New Zealand has so many amazing mountains and lakes.

Aside from all the natural beauty however, New Zealand is actually quite underrated in terms of its culture, people and some of the other things on offer. The people of New Zealand are some of the funniest in the world and there's some great cities to visit across the country.

6- THE GALAPAGOS ISLANDS

The Galapagos Islands have an important place in scientific history. They were, of course, the Islands that Darwin first started to discover the process of evolution. These are also some of the best places in the world to observe wildlife.

There is a huge variety of animals that can be found nowhere else on this planet. The culture of the few people that inhabit these areas is also so different from anything you would have experienced before. Even a short trip would be life-changing.

7- GRAND CANYON

The Grand Canyon is one of those places that everyone should see at some point during their lifetime. Even those who visit the area multiple times find something new on each visit. the natural beauty of the Grand Canyon can't be emphasized enough. The Grand Canyon also experiences visual changes during certain times of the year. For instance, if you plan your visit for early autumn, it will look significantly different than if you visited during the middle of spring.

The weather at the Grand Canyon is almost always dry and sunny, so there will be little chance of your vacation being ruined by lousy weather. Even summer rainstorms are brief, leaving the air fresh and clean.

Residents of apartments in Flagstaff, Arizona, can drive to the Grand Canyon in a matter of several hours, making it an ideal road trip for those seeking an excellent experience but are short on time. You can pack a picnic lunch to enjoy when you reach your destination, or you can dine at one of the fine restaurants near the Grand Canyon.

Furthermore,  Visiting the Grand Canyon offers abundant opportunities to get out in the fresh air and get some exercise. You can go hiking, horseback or burro riding, rafting, swimming, or simply go for a leisurely walk if strenuous activities aren't on your agenda.

8- BARCELONA

Barcelona is simply stunning. The beaches, the churches, the parks. There's so much to do that it would be impossible to fit it all in one week. The culture of Catalonia is truly astounding and needs to be experienced first hand.

This is a location that we urge everyone to visit, but if you are perhaps from the States then it's definitely worth exploring. It's so different from what can be experienced in other Spanish cities, perhaps because of the art, architecture, and feel of the city.

9- Tokyo, Japan

The Japanese capital city of Tokyo is a large, energetic and incredible destination. In the most populated city in the world, you’ll be able to tour temples, dine on countless Japanese culinary delicacies and shop in some of the world’s biggest and most unusual malls.

Travel to the city that moves at a lightning pace, one of the world’s busiest cities and marvel at the blindingly bright lights of Tokyo.
This metropolis nicely balances tradition and modernity with its tall skyscrapers in the middle of the city, and its palaces and temples located on the outskirts. An example of this is the Zo-Ji Buddhist temple and the Tokyo tower, or the Tokyo Metropolitan government buildings with a beautiful view of Mount Fuji.

10- VENICE

Venice is by far one of the most beautiful cities in Italy and the whole of Europe. It's so unique because of the structures being built on water. The food and atmosphere in Venice showcase the best of Italy, but it's the architecture that you'll be interested in.

There are a number of incredible religious buildings across the city. The churches and cathedrals are all breathtaking inside. Of course, you need to take a trip on a gondola as well as visiting some of the tiny shops in the many narrow and beautiful streets.
